Sagemindsays...What are they using as an accelerant? It's got to be some heavy fuel with little fumes.

Something pretty oily-Takes the flame a while to start. I'm thinking kerosene-the fumes are a non-issue if the thing is vented at the top to outside, and once fuel oil is going it's hard to blow out.
