I'm no expert on how Jeopardy is scored, but assuming he earns his final score, didn't he just give up more than $28,000 for that stupid stunt? I thought it took brains to be on this show...

All he had to do was wager a low amount to guarantee victory--he was so far ahead that wagering it all would have been stupid.

I don't get the reference.
