Family Guy - Stewie makes a startling discovery

Damning evidence against the McCain-Palin campaign.
campionidelmondosays...

Let's face it, neither candidate is responsible for the votes he receives and they're both happy for every single one they get. McCain is counting on the votes of racist people and Obama wouldn't throw them away either.

should have said "McCain/Obama"

Have we already forgotten history? Seriously people this was in the last century, your grandparents/parents probably fought in this war. The Nazi party was the National Socialist German Workers’ Party. Both Obama and McCain are socialists (see their vote on the $700 billion bailout, among many others), this clip doesn't even make sense. If anything it should be Obama's name on the button as he is the larger socialist of the two.

Hitler's hatred for other races was rooted in socialism not the amount of melanin in someones skin, he thought they were undesirable to the community. This is what collectivists (socialists) believe, that the majority can oppress the minority for the "good" of the community.

That episode was definitely one of their best ever. The random laser blast was great.

Oh and socialism does not stand for what you were looking for, nice shot and fail.

The Nazis' may have had the word "socialism" or "socialist" attributed to the party name, but under every other rule they are fascist. McCain/Obama have more of a middle of the road or slight socialist stance. But for comedy sakes McCain/Palin fit in much closer to fascism, especially socially.

Merriam-Webster:

Socialism:

1: any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods
2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property
b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3: a stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done

Fascism:

1 often capitalized: a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control

^You don't think I can type in dictionary.com or wikipedia.com and the word "socialism" such that you feel the need to copy and paste the contents? If you really knew what those words meant you would be able to explain them in your own words without having to google them to find something to copy and paste.

Socialism is a economic system and fascism is a political system, yet for some reason you are trying to claim they are mutually exclusive. Of course if you would have read something aside from the dictionary (or even read what you copied and pasted, as the information is there) maybe you would have realized this before you revealed to the world you are an adult who would have failed a 10th grade government class. If you are not yet in the 10th grade, I apologize.

You mean like us socialists up in Canada?

Get real, if anything we oppress the majority for the good of the minority.

Try again.

Since when was Marxist ideas not a political ideology? You may only believe it plays a part in so much as Capitalism is concerned but it is still the government that makes the decision. But, the ideas of socialism come from Marxist ideals; of course I learned this in ninth grade so it could be fuzzy. You might want to like up socialism and politics, they seem to go together alot.

^socialism wasn't invented by karl marx. it was explicitly coined before he was even born. moreso, collectivist ideals (which form the basis of socialism) are thousands of years old.
