FOX News reporter takes candy from kids in defense of the 1%

In this absurd video that’s gone viral in right wing circles, regular Fox contributor and comedian, Steven Crowder, attends a children’s Halloween event and “redistributes” their goodies in a painfully flawed attempt to make a case that taxing the wealthiest more is unfair. Apparently, he’s conveniently forgotten that the wealthy are paying lower tax rates and taking a larger piece of the American earnings pie than in the last 60 years.

We’ll concede one point to Mr. Crowder; lots of conservatives are very similar to selfish, petulant little children. As educated, empathetic adults perhaps we should hold ourselves to a higher standard. Just a thought.

I completely trust the outcome of this informal study. Children always know what is best and are always willing to sacrifice for the common good.

That is not how windmills work!!!

It's only fair that there is another guy with a camera just giving tons more candy to kids who are taller or fitter (metaphor for taxcuts). Then they can go to this guy and we'll see what happens.
