Did the penalty taker just shove the goalie straight after? Wouldn't that be a foul, even if it didn't send the goalie flying?

Why did he kick the ball to the goalie? And how can the right wing blame link this to Obama?

A lot of the time the goalie will try to read the kicker and see where he's going to kick it, then just jump that way and hope for the best.
Obviously this goalie had a bit more wits about him.

I'm not a footie-watcher. Can someone explain what happened and why this made top-15 on VS? (Am I the only one who doesn't see what is interesting about this?)
