Probably not the brightest thing to do for a number of reasons, least of all the fact that it's pretty easy to track you down.

I like it how they got caught. I kept thinking this is an Airwolf chopper that will fire a weapon.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. Pointing a laser at an aircraft is a stupid thing to do, but the amount of surveillance in the UK is almost Orwellian. You can't even fart without it being caught on camera.
