The only good game to come out of the Ion Storm fiasco.

No thanks to Xbox for fucking up Dues Ex 2 and Thief 3. Somehow it must be John Romero's fault.

Man I loved that game. I tried to play it again recently but couldn't find my game disks. There is a pirated copy but it has a glitch that, for me at least, would not let me get onto the police boat at the end of the first section. Bummer. Also I'm finding more and more that old games are hard to play on a new computer, due to directX issues and obsolete 3D libraries and what not.

And yeah, Deus Ex 2 sucked. I played it on PC, maybe 5 hours into the game and I just gave up. It was terrible.

I totally agree with farhad, my hatred for Xbox because of that sorta got me to dispise consoles in general...

A game so good I still boot it up every once in awhile just for the nostalgia value.

Deus Ex was great.

Deux Ex: Invisible War (or 2, if you prefer) was crap, and we all know it wasn't Romero's fault, but the damn X-Box "crowd"...or perhaps just the crowd the people in charge believes uses X-Boxes.

Mind you, I don't think it's fair to say Deus Ex was the only good thing to come from Ion Storm...Anachronox was an excellent game, clever and fun, and I'm bitter we'll never get a sequel to that at all, half-assed (ala DX2) or not.

Oh well.

Yes Dx2 was a terrable game though i liked Thief3 it was quite good.

One of the greatest games of all time.
