I had initially mistaken this WTC version as the original video (hence the URL), but after looking on Wikipedia I discovered this was filmed by French TV, rather than it being an official promo video.

If it wasn't for 9/11 this would be an entirely boring video. The song stands the test of time that's for sure but they could have done something a bit more dynamic for a tv spot.

Depeche Mode is one of those bands, that seems to unite quite a widespread consensus about their quality, from people who usually have different tastes. I sure like it. Not my favorite band, but definitely great.
