"Music is an integral part of the demoscene and demos themselves. In this episode we focus on demomusic with several respected musicians such as Yolk, Jugi, Purple Motion and Skaven discussing what makes a great demotune. We also talk to other scener's about their take on the importance of music in demos."

there is a multi part series of the demoscene? Awesome! Softsubs look good, not google translated crap. I was such a big fan of the pc demo scene, it was the driving force behind my drive to get better audio components for my pc.

Was? Why did you stop? I'm a still a fan. I still watch top ranked demos posted on http://pouet.net on weekends. Yes, they aren't good as the old days, but still fun.

I liked them back then because they were great technical marvels and had great mod music. Now they show the same 3d effects we see all the time with bad looking 3d models and pre recorded music. Just not the same anymore. I do like the 4k and 64k demo compos though, that takes skill.
