Hate the whole overaged concept, but love watching Simon in occasional small doses. He's a class A dick, sure, but he's quite good at being a class A dick, and as he laughs at this you can pretty much tell that besides all the money these are the moments when he really gets to enjoy his job.

I like ... wait, no, I respect Simon Cowell. He's a genius at playing the pantomime bad guy and (unless it's another act) he seems to appreciate guys like this both in terms of it being good telly and them showing some backbone.
