David Copperfield's Famous Rose Illusion

i submitted this a while back, before i had any sort of star power, and it tanked. this version is much cleaner, though it is dubbed over. it is by far my favorite magic trick. enjoy!

I have a close-hand magician good friend, and he showed me exactly how to do this. It's the same way magicians make rings, coins, and necklaces float.

It's an extremely thin wire, invisible much like fishing line but much much thinner, and also taut. The line is so thin, any movement such as breathing, can make it shake.

It's stuck to his jacket. And also the paper.

If you notice he never moves his hand between the paper and his chest. He only moves it above, below, and away from the paper. Never between his chest and the paper.

The paper is flash paper. The rose at the end is in his sleeve. The flash paper gives off a big white light, while he zips the rose out of his sleeve.

Pretty neat!
