Dave Grohls truly inspirational SXSW keynote speech about music, how and why he originally got into music, joined a band - and everything. Well worth seeing if you are into music - both making of and listening to.

This is the keynote speech in its entirety, and for quality speeches like this, *long is *good.

That was SO good. I didn't have the contiguous time to watch it in one session, but I'm so glad that I kept the browser window open and watched the whole thing.

If you're stopping by here on the sift and intimidated by the 50 minute length, take my word for it and find the time to watch!
