DDE3 - Why QuakeWorld is better than any other FPS game

This is one of the best demonstrations of the awesome physics and incredibly visceral nature of Quakeworld; the beginning of... well... everything!

Upvote for the soundtrack alone. I'm more of a UT man myself, though.

Quake 1 really is the best Quake game. Oh how I wish that Quake 5 will be like Quake 1.

Having played with the best players in the world for a 6 year period in Q1 and Q3... I have to agree quake 1 is the best fps of all time and we'll never see another like it. That is the game that every serious player played. Too bad internet connections sucked back then and every time you played west coasters like Thresh and his clan, you had to play on a server in Seattle with a 150 ms ping time. Ah the good old days.

This video made me feel bad, because I used to consider myself pretty good at this game, but nowhere near the complete pwnage shown here. Like, I never shot people out of the air, that seems so rude...
