Cute Jump Fail - "I'm going to POOM"

or maybe it's a parenting fail?

Agreed.

Allowing your children (especially adventurous boys) to climb and jump and potentially fall without possibility of serious injury is perfectly acceptable in my humble opinion.

They'll learn quickly how to do it better and safer next time. You have to allow them to develop the tools to prepare them for the adversity they'll face when you're not by their side holding a camera and laughing.

Definitely not a parenting fail. Any father worth his salt lets his kid do stupid and mildly dangerous things. It's how they learn.
