I know their tech makes computers cry and all, but this is starting to look like something Pixar would do. I found it hard to tell the difference between the two videos (in this low res video at least). Hats off to Crytek.

Computer graphics are finally at an "amazing" point.

Not quite, but its getting close.
It will be at least 2 more decent game engine generations away before we hit uncanny valley.
