Crossing the Drake Passage

The Drake Passage is the body of water that separates South America and Antarctica. It is considered to have the roughest sea conditions in the world with almost constant storms and large waves. I've made the voyage across before and I can assure you it's quite the ride! When it's stormy like in this video, it's affectionately referred to as the "Drake Shake" and it can make your life a living hell for the 2 days it takes to cross the passage if you're prone to sea sickness.

i was expecting far worse but seas like that can wear on ya.getting smacked around for days is tiresome.you have to put shoes or something under the lip of your mattress otherwise you may find yourself being chucked out of bed.
