This is just a variation of the "hollow face illusion." Maybe it's because of the grid lines, but I could actually see what was going on in this one, in other words, my brain didn't completely fall for it.

Yeah, maybe it's the grid lines or the lighting but it was pretty clear to me how it was built. I wasn't fooled like I have been many times before by better optical illusions.
