I'll go along with this. But only if I get to snoop in on Obama's phone calls too. He is, after all, a citizen of the US as well, and therefore under scrutiny as much as I am.

Oh, and I promise I won't disclose anything either...

^ I'm actually quite pleased to see it. I've almost gotten to the point of not bothering to turn him on, because he's not leveling the same kind of progressive-minded scrutiny on Obama as he did on Bush.

He was one of the only news outlets that ever mentioned torture or wiretapping on a regular basis. I don't believe he only cared about that because it was politically bad for Republicans, so I'm glad to see signs that he's going to hold Obama's feet to the fire on this topic as well.

There are a lot of things the democrats will let slide because they got too tied up in the problem back when Bush was in office. That is why we will never see Bush prosecuted, and why things like this are going to pop up. Obama simply doesn't have the pull in all those static departments to effect the necessary change. At least not right away. I'm very happy to see Olbermann reporting this, though, as it increases the chances of the right thing being done eventually.
