Chris Matthews: Dems Shouldn't Have to Apologize for Winning

quantumushroomsays...

How is Leg-Thrill Mathspews any less a loudmouth than the left proclaims O'Reilley to be?

Considering how despicably and unfairly the MSM treated George W. Bush, no wonder Chris is nervous. Or maybe he's always snorted Vivarin.

Matthews is by no means unbiased, but he's not a loudmouth idiot like O'Reilly. The Democrat version of O'Reilly is Olbermann, not Matthews. Unlike those two, Chris Matthews tends to have substance behind his criticism.

Why tthe sudden crry for helpp?

Lawl, you took what he said and then made it look like it said it about himself. I'm sure everyone bought it just like everyone thought "I know you are but what am I?" was the height of witty repartee... X D

I don't know what's more pathetic, your poor attempt at something a 5th grader would find puerile and ridiculous or your slavish adherance to the cult of Dubyah.

Don't cry though CP, Obama wants your opinion as well... =)

I agree with the conservative that if Obama cuts taxes for the rich across the board and starts a pre-emptive war in a sovereign nation without the approval of anybody in the world but England, then he does deserve to have a 22 percent approval rating.

However, I agree whole-heartedly with Matthews that conservatives want to be flamboyantly gay when they win, but when they lose they want their opponents to stay in the closet.

The tax cuts for the rich line kinda puts him in the "I watch TV so I think I know a lot about taxes" group...so the substance part...not so much.

And to the Asmo girl, you shouldn't refer to BurdTurgular as an it. It's not nice.

You are out of your fucking head.

Two wars, thousands of troops dead, tens of thousands maimed for life, millions of civilians killed, bruatlized, and forgotten...not to mention the mountain of debt, a ruined economy, lies, spying and, yes, TORTURE.

Bush got a free pass and if there were any justice in this land his ass would be in a sling.

Matthews is an independent. He'll go with whichever party performs more intelligently.

We're not having this conversation again, liberals. There's no middle ground with the side that ignores how dangerous this world STILL is, forgot 9-11 (BUT IT'S NOT IRAQ'S FAULT!) and sees the military only as "a waste of welfare dollars".

Farhad2000says...

I wouldn't mind the war on terror if it wasn't so unilateral, poorly conceived, poorly planned, poorly carried out by a inept organization of leaders who really didn't understand what they were doing and passed off the difficult job to the armed forces and fresh idealistic young republicans who didn't know what the hell they were doing in the Green Zone.

Not to mention the fact that the same people gave billions in private military contracts to organizations (AEGIS) that have a poor record of success carrying out their obligations, to PMCs that ran under any form of legal oversight in Iraq.

The world is no more dangerous than ever. To claim that terrorism is a bigger threat than the times of the Cold war, is to buy into the created narrative of those who cement power through fear mongering.

But never mind go to sleep sheeple.

"Tax cuts for the rich" may be an oversimplification, but it's closer to the truth than saying that there weren't tax cuts for the rich.

Any tax cut has to include the rich. So your point doesn't mean anything. Any tax cut that doesn't include the rich is socialism.

It's obviously more dangerous if you happen to live in a country that the USA has arbitrarily decided to attack, invade, and occupy.
