While it's always advantageous to take an active interest in a potential enemy's weapons, I think the fear with which many have been looking at the tiny amount of information about the J-20 is unwarranted.

For a time, the American military was terrified that the Russians had developed a nuclear-powered aircraft before they had solved many of the fundamental problems to nuclear-powered flight. It wasn't until many years later that they found out that the Russians had built it with very little to no radiation shielding - condemning the pilots and crew to radiation sickness and death.

I think people need to take a step back and watch the Chinese progress with interest but not fear - at least until they get some engines they didn't just buy from Russia.

The problem with this Jet is that 20 minutes after filling it with fuel, it has to be fueled again.

I wonder about something else :
1. The person filming sure took insane risks filming this (can't even start to imagine the consequences if caught) when actually it doesn't really show much.
2. If I were the Chinese Gvt and I wanted to get the pentagon's panties in a bunch I could always "leak" some footage of an old fighter made-up to look like some new stealth fighter (think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dummy_tank) Major cost-effectiveness...
