Jeez I love cats. They provide so much unintentional joy. They're funny because they take themselves so seriously, and when something funny happens their seriousness makes it that much funnier. They're the slapstick masters of the animal kingdom.

Dogs are less funny because they goofily know they are funny. No one likes a clown who laughs at himself.
