Carving The Captain Beefheart Memorial Jack-o-lantern

Every Halloween I carve a jack-o-lantern with the likeness of a musician who has died since the previous Halloween. This year it's Captain Beefheart (January 15, 1941 -- December 17, 2010). This is based on the Trout Mask Replica album cover by Cal Schenkel. The song is "Frownland" from the same album. More information at shawnfeeney.com/jackolanterns
