Trancecoachseems like a great argument against democracy, or any other form of centralized government.

CreamKYou got it totally wrong. It was not a criticism against democracy or goverment but a genuine warning about our leaders lack of knowledge. This applies mostly on US politicians who have special hatred against science because of their religious beliefs. The same people have no problem benefiting from any advances made in science but tries as hard as he can to deny any knowledge of the subject, akin to "dark ages" where knowledge of religion was banned from common folks.
The lesson in this video is that the leaders you choose to represent you should have brains and ideologies that concentrate on facts, not beliefs.
