Bush to Cancel 2008 Election - Frightening Concept: Possible

NetRunnersays...

Yeah, I think intentionally collaborating with terrorists for a new attack in October to try to scare people is likely. They want to have the trials for the Guantanamo detainees in September, though through their own incompetence (and with some help from the Supreme Court ruling), that's already looking unlikely. Petraeus is supposed to come back and report to Congress on Iraq in September, most likely late September.

Declaring martial law and cancelling elections is too ham-handed. Even Fox viewers will think that's a crock. They've been careful not to push the war too hard (i.e. no draft), for fear it becomes the focus of people's attention.

Martial law would have the same effect, waking people up finally.

It's all going to be about using every extended power of Bush's to try to make the political landscape favorable for McCain, or in their uniquely neocon mindset, to try to get people afraid of terrorists again, thinking that will automatically benefit them.

And in the meantime the democrats cause fear and make people terrified of something that will never happen. I love stupid people, who would make my food at taco bell without them. This is turning into demosift/antireligosift. give me a break and put something marginally intelligent on again guys.

This is the cancer that is killing /b. ^ This video has nothing to do with any one opinion, I posted it because I thought that it was an interesting albeit extreme take on how far things could be taken. This is a remote possibility, out in the bleakest, most snowy desert. IE when hell freezes over.

I think the majority of Americans are smarter than we give them credit for. Yea they're lazy and most of them didn't vote so they got stuck with a dumbfuck president, but when some obvious and deliberate frauds start occurring I'm confident that they people will stand up....and they all have guns and know how to use them.

Alot of people that I know still think that guns kill people. They were made for that purpose yes, but they still need an operator.

They say that the purpose of the gun is to kill and that is all it does.

I say that the knife, the bludgeon, the human hands are all made to kill. Once I state that they seem to buckle in their beliefs that a gun can kill some one by itself.

These are tools of human construct, any thing can be made to kill or maim. When anti gun arguments argue that fact, I hold a picture of all of these tools mentioned above, up.

In the movie Borne Identity, Jason uses a ball point pen to kill the competition. Bring these things up to a person who says that keeping guns away from a lawful citizen is going to stop violent crime.

My point is here, of the people I have asked opinions of have given me some pretty uneducated answers.

I like my constitutional rights, "the right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed." teh 2nd - That doesn't mean be an ass about it.

And to the point of the Esteemed Mr Franklin: I do not trust the American people as a whole, because "'A person is smart.' - (K)Kay

'People are dumb, panicky,
dangerous animals. You know it.' - (J)Jay" Men In black taken from here.
