Blonde Redhead is an American rock trio comprised of Kazu Makino and twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace. They take their name from a song by DNA, a no wave band from New York. The band performs in multiple languages including English, Japanese, Italian, and French.

I think i'll check them out more. 23 is their 7th album.

I have to say that you have impeccable music taste, Thylan. Thanks for posting this. I noticed your tags included "mike" and "mills". Is that the same Mike Mills from R.E.M? Is he somehow involved with this group as a producer or something?

I guess it counts as an American band, but the guys are from Italy (and Montreal!) and chickie is from Japan.
I could never get into their earlier stuff, but they blew me away with this album and they were a revelation live. Upvote!!

Pushing it through!

misery is a butterfly is my favorite of their albums. the tracks with Kazu on vocals are great; not so much the ones with the dude. his voice... kindof annoying, especially because her's is so cool.

this track is a bit over-produced for my taste... sound like a track from the last Ladytron cd, which I didn't like until hearing/seeing it performed live (with real instruments).
