elyssesays...that, my friends, is indeed a mockingbird. state bird of my home state. it is probably a mama, and the cat's probably way used to it by now.
the only time i've seen a bird do this without getting killed is when our family dog ate a nest of mockingbird babies while the mama was away. she spent the rest of her life dive-bombing the dog and cawing, just like that.

12694says...There was a bird like this who used to harass my cat. He tolerated it for months. Then one day, it swooped down at him to do its usual crap and bam, he plucked it out of the air and murdered it on the spot. Good times.
