finch451says...Anybody who likes this should definitely put on a good pair of headphones or sit in a 7.1 mastered room and listen to the BT album "Binary Universe".
Like this video, BT, spent months upon months developing new technologies and software to build a completely 3D audible experience.
I know I'm not really commenting on this video, but I am commenting on the concept. Check out the videos (with good sound quality) on DivX if you liked this.
MarineGunrocksays...Cool music, and awesome video! Nice find, snipe. And thanks for the plug

rottenseedsays...Radiohead's new album "In Rainbows" features a couple of binaural recorded pieces. At first when I heard this I was thinking "so what...multiple microphones recording into multiple tracks". After reading about it a bit more I found that it was a highly specialized form of this technique where the human head, ear shape and placement were taken into consideration while recording. Pretty nifty stuff.
antsays...Too bad I can't hear this because I wear a hearing aid that is mono.
rottenseedsays...damn...I will never take my ability to hear in stereo for granted again.
Spacesays...Even without the headphones, I really liked it. For anyone else interested in binaural beats like me, I ran across an amazing album in iTunes - http://itunes.apple.com/album/binaural-sounds-to-unleash/id342270480 - it is pretty cheap and highly enjoyable. They also seem to have a site at eusound.net
