theaceofclubzBen's absolutely right. Only good things happen when we let god into science.

BillOreillyLet the firestorm of atheist propaganda begin.
jmzerosays...I don't want to hear about the holes in evolution from someone who summarizes it as "Men descended from monkeys and apes and cells and stuff" (forgive my inexact quote). How come the representative for ID always seems to be a random guy who can claim ignorance of the actual science - and fall back on "the many scientists who agree with me"?
I wish he would have interviewed one of those scientists instead.
anyprophetsays...He's talking about old science! Lighting hitting a mud puddle? That's a 50 year old theory that isn't accepted anymore. I thought Ben Stein was intelligent. I'm so disillusioned right now.
edit: Also, this isn't about atheism. This is about creationists using politics to undermine science.
smibboI had so much respect for Ben Stein... not now.
To his credit, it sounds like he is making the original Behe challenge: there are holes in Darwin's theory, why can't we ask them? And he's allowing for the intelligence of others as well as acknowledging science. But to appear on Bill O'Reilly? ugh. Really Ben, I thought you were above that kind of thing.
FadeThose scientists weren't expelled or shut down because they we're questioning Darwinism, they were expelled for not being scientists.
