Beer taps in tables in bars

Why wait for the waitress to bring you another pitcher when you can just pour your own?

In the Ottawa region, here in Canada, there is a french bar on the Quebec side that has 2 tables with taps. I guess having seen that I thought it was more common than this video has me know it isn't.

The bar locks the taps. You ask them to unlock it, and they have a counter at the bar. When you're finished, they lock it up and charge for the amount. Comes up to the same amount as getting draft from the bar, charged per ounce or something. Downside is that the two taps are specific beers - Alexander Keith's and Labatt Bleue.
