was he expelled by the umpire or what? I don't understand baseball rules. Actually, I don't understand how something like this goes on for so long. In football, the mere fact that the coach of the team passes the field's lines would be enough for him to get a red card and be sent to the locker room.

One of the home plate umpire's jobs is to keep home base free of dirt and debris so the pitcher can see it.

There was probably a pitch call he didn't like - he not only buries it (a common insult), but he also draws a brand new, much larger (for the umpire to be able to see) base in the new dirt.

I still think it's hilarious. The grenade is the best part though. The guy is psycho.

Its too bad this is the only excitement from baseball now a days. Bring back the steroids!
