if that was one of my cats the sweet toddler would have been shred to pieces. my cats always go fight-to-death mode. guess that's why they say never keep more than one male cat together ;-)

So does anyone else feel themselves going ooooo watch the claws watch the claws?

Don't think i'd let a cat do this regardless how friendly it was, too much potential for a permanent scar on soft baby skin.

I was playing with my dog a few years ago when he jumped up gently at me, but as he dropped to the ground he caught me with his dew claw (or however it's spelt) and ripped a 3 inch scar down my leg. Still there, very prominent.

I suspect the cat is declawed. I don't think it would have been able to extend its legs like that without extending the claws too.
