This is a perfect video to start a "What if the citizens where allowed to protect themselves" debate.
I know that our governments want us to beleive that the best defense is to cower, but I think a sidearm might come in handy in a situation like this.
Do you notice that the "failure to comply" penalty is the same whether it is administered from a cop or a criminal? They will use their weapons against us.
It's time to bow down or fight back, to both of these gangs of thugs.

People have a right to defend themselves. When guns are involved, you usually need guns for that.

It sucks that they were victimized and all but nobody was killed. If they all had guns I think it's fair to say the chances of somebody dying would go up.... unless maybe the store owners were ex-military or something and knew how to behave in a gunfight.

I think we're missing the biggest point, that the burglars knew no one in there would have a gun, so by the numbers it's easy to assume an easy take over. If they thought everyone might be armed with a weapon, do you think they would've even attempted to enter in the first place? Probably not.

So these arguments that claim "if these people had guns to defend themselves then certainly people would've died" are irrelevant.
