No way! My made-up Jesus is better than YOUR made-up Jesus!
xxovercastxxsays...I think anyone who follows Christ (in any of his alleged forms) can call themselves a Christian. Mormons, Catholics, Lutherans, Baptists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mennonites, Haitian Voodoun, Umbanda practitioners (I don't know the proper demonym), and so on are all Christians.
Thomas Jefferson was a Christian, and an atheist, because he followed the philosophical teachings of Jesus. There are many others like him.
As I've said before, if Christians want to claim that only members of their own sect are really Christians, they're going to find themselves a minority in a hurry.
p.s. When you toss the cult label around, remember that Christianity is a Jewish cult.

soulmonarchsays...By definition, Mormonism is not a cult. ("You keep using that word... I do not think it means what you think it means.") No more than the Southern Baptist sect is, at least.
budzossays...This is a yes or no question.
Yes, moronism is christianity with a new testament where Jesus was hanging around in North America. They pray to Jesus and his father, like christians do. I don't see why it's such a difficult question... unless... you don't think maybe these people being interviewed are trying to manipulate and deceive!? DO YOU!?
Any form of christianity is a cult.
