Anti-muslim Rally at Ground Zero

A man walks through the crowd at the Ground Zero protest and is mistaken as a Muslim. The crowd turns on him and confronts him. The man in the blue hard hat calls him a coward and tries to fight him. The tall man who I think was one of the organizers tried to get between the two men. Later I caught up with the man who's name is Kenny. He is a Union carpenter who works at Ground Zero. We discussed what a scary moment that was for him. I told him that I hoped it did not ruin his day.

Wow. I shouldn't be surprised when sheep do what they do best, but wow.

Mosque support hamas, wtf? Well I guess Cathedrals support raping children by that logic?! This is just embarrassing to American religious freedom, they should all be ashamed. They are using their freedom of speech to supplant peoples right to practice religion, crazy.

So now if you look like a certain Ethnic group you get accosted. Looks like Racism to me, why don't these protesters get their own "Free Speech Zone"?

This was disgraceful, on so many levels. I really can't articulate my feelings on this into words, my mind is blown.

I get the racism = bad part, but where are the "religion is psychotic and should be eraticated" parts I here everyday on the sift??? No bashing here? How is this? Mosque should = teaching spot of insanity correct? Just like church? I am confused...

I guess some people feel more comfortable hating someone for being Muslim than hating them for being black. That's why, imho, many of these nutters don't even bother to learn the truth about this guy, or, say... a President. The truth doesn't matter. He's black. Label him a Muslim and you've found a less socially-remonstrated vector to spew your racism.
