How do the terms for your money break down? I know "pound" is the official name of the currency, but what are the names for coins? Here in America we have dollars and cents (pennies, nickles, dimes, and quarters) with the most common slang term "buck" being the equivalent of "dollar."
Also, our "paper" currency is actually not made of paper, but of cotton. Of what is British currency composed? And what is the smallest unit of currency available? We go down to the penny (1 cent), but a lot of people are in favor of eliminating it.
