Anyone else find this clip fucked up in the sense of 3 people kickin the hell out of a guy who (as far as i can tell) wasnt stealing anything? It seems to me that he wanted something from that shelf be it cigarettes or something, the clerk wasnt there so he decided to grab it himself. He made no attempt to pocket what he was taking, did it in clear sight, and didnt seem like he was going to bolt for the door at anytime.

It seems to me that the guy is behind the employee counter; either that, or there's nothing sectioning the employee area off. I initially thought the guy was frantically grabbing an armful of stuff, but upon watching it again, that doesn't seem to be the case.

I may have been overzealous in my first comment. Unless the guy was grabbing stuff that clearly wasn't for sale, the law would seem to be on the supposed thief's side. Even if he was in an employee-only area, that's not enough to justify assault.
