And 90% of that eye-candy in this demonstration is not in the final version of Vista (which was supposedly released to manufacturing this week).

I moved off windows years ago because of reasons such as shown in this video, a pc isn't just about flash ways to use your desktop. It's about getting things done, so wow it wastes some seconds when it's loading up my photos but I just don't see how that will help me write code quicker.
That's the simple fact why I love Linux, it's my choice to what I want to use.

Besides really if users want lots of pretty things then surely they should be buying a mac?

i dont wanna use linux but I will if WinXP asks me to clean up my destop just one more fucking time.
