Would this be considered snuff? Some people must have died in those explosions.

Not anymore than the various tsunami videos (e.g. http://videosift.com/video/The-Thai-Boxing-Day-Tsunami-Unbelievable-Footage), where you can assume people died but without actually seeing it.

The secret council of six is currently meeting to redefine snuff into anything that leaves you with a slightly uneasy feeling.
