GUESS WHO'S GOING TO PROM?

It is so unfortunate that he did not get the nomination, if the republican party had any ounce of intelligence and truly wanted to reclaim they're namesake after bush, then they should have nominated Ron Paul. I absolutely hate the dualism our country likes to segregate everything into, I was all for voting Paul had he been in the final run. Fuck Republican/Democrat, people should vote for what is right for the country as a whole, this is not an election for prom king & queen it's the fucking presidency.

Funny enough, the title of this sift was also the theme to our high school senior prom. Ahh, memories...

I hate to see how both candidates court this Joe guy as if he was their prom date. To me he represents part of the problem. Only concerned about his money, about politics that directly affect him now, not about any of the real issues that might possibly affect his children and his children's children. You're right, though I don't really think Obama or McCain are trying to cater to Joe Wurzelbacher the actual person, but to Joe the Plubmer^TM the archtypical everyman that such a name implies.

Since the media is foolishly lapping this up, thinking the archtypical everyman will make for good infotainment, I was just suggesting that we give the media a useful shiny object to segue to, since their everyman was going to get his vote challenged by the very party he's registered with.

But...my dreams of being a master media manipulator are for naught, Jennifer Brunner and the Ohio SCOTUS already did their jobs and corrected the issue.

They forgot to mention about her look. Often a successfully good looking woman draws jealousy instead of admiration from her fellow women. I think that "trip the Prom Queen" mentality is not going to help her with the women voters.
