EyeDrops - More Bells and Whistles
I first saw this at a SIGGRAPH. The main thing about this video was that the animation was driven by MIDI. The basic animation (the objects and how they interacted) was created, then linked to MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) channels and notes.
cyriak's animation mix
Yay! MIDI music! Good compilation - I've seen a lot of them before but still cracked me up (good use of Jeremy's: Clarkson/Paxman).
Computer Animation WAY Ahead of it's Time (Back in 1993)
"Beautiful music"? I think it's a shame the music is so dated, unlike the CGI (the early 90's loved cheesy MIDI). Nice find though BNSA.
Cute animals - oh my!
In case anyone is wondering.... the music is actually from mario 64: Piranha Plant's Lullaby. or at least really damn close to it. so im a nerd and the song was more appealing to me

Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Run
I miss the symphonic midi music of games back then. Really brings me back.
Fire Screen - "Hot" New Display Technology
very awesome... MIDI fire no doubt!
Scanjet Plays Fur Elise
Nice... would be cool to write a MIDI to Scanjet converter
Animusic: Pipe Dreams
These guys are cool. This is the coolest of their videos I think. Pretty trick, they are using MIDI data to directly animate objects in 3D renders. They must have some cool MIDI look ahead stuff that figures out how to launch a ball at the right time for it to strike an instrument at the tone of the note.
The Official Bittorent Video - Dude plays keyboards and sings about bittorrent
I couldn't stand his singing. His keyboard MIDI was decent so no vote.
