Jaguar E-Type destroys AC Cobras at Goodwood Revival
Destroys? Looks like a fairly even race.

Hey, Love that motorcycle engine sanding video.

I wonder when the first grammar nazi will point out you said "an inch at a time" in the description.
... oh shit.

I wasn't insulted for his comment generally, just being lumped in with dipshit53. That's slander.
As a white person, I'm not offended at all by Genji's comments. I don't take anything he says personally. I also think I understand where he's coming from. I don't know him so I can't TRULY understand, but I've had my own experiences which seem to make me understand what he's saying.
A 350Z Procharger challenges a Porsche 991 GT3 ... and then
I'd be surprised if the golf made it around the next hard corner with those pencil tires. It's the German equivalent to a Saturday Night drag car. Great in the straights, straight in the turns.
I'd be surprised if that Golf cost more than $15K to build.

Isle of Man TT - GUY MARTIN vs MICHAEL DUNLOP@200mph
I find this sport gets somewhat ruined by the fact most of the narcissistic fops that buy the de-tuned versions of these bikes spend every day riding like they think they're in this race.
Drifting Nissan GT-R almost crashes
Everyone loves the oversteer.
I don't understand the point of intentional drifting. Does it have anything to do with racing (when on a track) as in trying to have the best time? I assume its more like watching monster trucks or WWE wrestling. Am i wrong?

Hey, you probably already knew this, but I recently discovered she's Telly Savalas' daughter.
Who loves ya, baby?!
She flirted shamelessly with me throughout the rest of the show - and yes, she's all that.
As a side note - the vignetting effect in the video must be understated - I can't seem to recall noticing anyone (or anything) else during that song.
And - she's not bad. She's just - drawn that way.
Crazy street racing! Peel Kart Race - On Board
OBVIOUSLY, the guy in the lead used a mushroom.
Can someone who understands this explain something to me? He appeared to reel that yellow car right in---but then couldn't pass him. Why? Was the other car slower but had better brakes, so he could stuff him into each corner? Or did the other driver get faster when he realized he'd been caught?
Or something else?
kept looking for the pass and it never happened.

It could be. Wind resistance is why geese fly in formation. They take turns being the lead so the entire flock benefits.
I don't really think it's a matter of wind resistance. Drafting with a car behind a semi offers measurable fuel benefits out to near 100 ft, but these things are so much smaller than a semi that it's likely less than 10. Most of the time in the video (especially when we're seeing quick gains) the following kart is much farther back than just a few feet...and in several cases, he's off to the side as well.
I'd put the difficulty of passing down to twisting, narrow roads and an aggressive lead driver.

I was actually trying to get across it is really arrogant to assume because WE radio all over the place, that makes it the intelligent way to go. Also, the fact that there doesn't seem to be any civilizations populating the cosmos might be because, like us, it would take too much resources for everyone else as much as us. Maybe there really isn't any way to get around faster than light, and therefore not even close to it.
Yes, that was basically my point. If they aren't broadcasting in the wavelength we are looking in, at exactly the right time period for the transmission to get here while we're looking for exactly that kind of transmission, we'll see/hear nothing. Same thing if it's not strong enough to get here, or if there's no broadcast at all.
