My main point is not that the genie could only be played by Robin Williams, but that Will Smith is a terrible fit for this role. Will Smith can act if he is forced to by the director, Ali proved that. But if you just hire him because you wanted a comedian to play a role, you are going to get Will Smith acting as Will Smith.

That can work sometimes, IE MIB, but in other roles it is going to distract the audience from the scenes the actor is in (Suicide Squad).

There we many other actors that could have slid into this part and done it better. I'll wait for the movie, but I suspect that Smith is going to ruin the character for me.

Have we not yet learned that Will Smith is no longer a viable actor? He definitely isn't in the same league as Robin Williams.

The Attack on Titan anime is one of the absolute best things I've seen, I can't recommend it strongly enough. These live action movies, are the worst movies I've seen, like Battlefield Earth bad. And that is before accounting for the quality of the source material that they brutalized...

These movies are something nobody can enjoy, no idea how they came out as awful as they did. Kevin Smith's story about a producer wanting a giant spider in his movie comes to mind, somebody like that was running the whole show here and nobody ever reigned them in .

Yes it does tell it with his reasons for his doing so which is what makes it more informative and entertaining I might add.

Ok, I, and almost all non right wingers disagree. CNN and Faux are no where near the same level. CNN may have some bias against the man who actively encouraged right wing terrorists to attack them as enemies of America and continues to do so....that's perfectly reasonable and professional.
What they don't do is make up stories out of thin air like Faux, edit video to create false impressions that are diametrically opposed to reality, hire mostly frauds who have been caught falsifying reports, repeat obvious lies because their preferred candidate/politician said them, or go on the campaign trail with candidates not to report, but to speak on their behalf.
