Reminds me of a scene from the movie "It's a wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart.

There's a scene where Uncle Billy is drunk and leaves a party. Shortly after he walks off camera a loud Crash is heard. Turns out the crash was actually a member of the crew dropping equipment. It's funny how Stewart and Thomas Mitchell just run with the scene and equally amazing how well it worked. If anyone catches the movie on-TV next Christmas, I'd keep an eye out.

Quite frankly, the U.S. military just needs to man up and stop giving a $#!+ about what other people think about their actions. If there are abuses that are brought to light then they should just handle them internally and tell everyone else to go take a long walk off a short pier.

Chasing around the ever-moving target of public opinion (especially as defined by the East Coast Media Monopoly) is a fruitless, pointless endeavor for a military organization. Here is how a military works when it is trying to actually ACCOMPLISH things...

1. Military decides on an objective.
2. Military goes about accomplishing target objective as quickly & efficiently as possible.
3. Military succeeds.

Here is how a military runs when it wants to repeatedly EPIC FAIL

1. Let civilian politicians and media twerps decide the objectives
2. Constantly redefine objectives to meet the shifting standards of aforementioned politicians & media twerps.
3. Military fails.

The military only needs to say one thing to any reporter. "It's war. People die. Deal with it."

these programs are so thick as they dont realy discuss things in anny inteligent way its just random peoples opinoins and they are not evan skilled at exspressing them , what is sad is that when u do have inteligent people weather religouse, insane , or not , they often only get 2 min to say something on the news.
We should have tv programs that are 2-4 hours of structured talking between interlectuals or properly planed debates that would allow an audeance to actualy listen to inteligent arguments give opertunity for people talking to inteligently and clearly rebut what sumone has said.
maby have a good documentry on something thats 60 min allowing an audeance to get a good idea of the issues and then have leaders in the feald debate aspects of the issues at hand.
