Princess Leia's Stolen Death Star Plans (Sgt. Pepper parody)
Any excuse to listen to Beatles music *quality
DO KIDS KNOW BEATLES SONGS? (REACT: Do They Know It?)
I'm thinking I'm probably on the short list of people here who saw the Beatles perform on The Ed Sullivan Show for the first time.

DO KIDS KNOW BEATLES SONGS? (REACT: Do They Know It?)
One Direction? Really? All the post-1970 bands you could have argued as being / having been better than The Beatles, and *that's* your choice? If nothing else, at least pick an act with some musicianship and that writes their own songs.
The Jungle Book Trailer (2016)
Nope.
Fuck that CGI remake bullshit.
I have aristocratic british tigers, vaguely Beatle-sounding vultures and some of the swingingest movie songs ever.
Danny Elfman - From New Wave Band To Film/TV Composer
I was a big fan of Boingo since the moment I heard "Stay" back in 1986. I drove from Connecticut to Detroit on a weekend to see them because my sister had an extra ticket. Check out their last song "Change" on their last CD, an epic 16 minute tribute to the Beatles and just about everything else.
Glad to see Elfman is still going strong.
Drummers on Ringo Starr
"All four Beatles have a solo in "The End", including a Ringo Starr drum solo. Starr disliked solos; he preferred to cater drumwork to whomever sang in a particular performance. The take in which he performed the solo originally had guitar and tambourine accompaniment, but other instruments were muted during mixing giving the effect of a drum solo. The additional instruments were restored for a remix on the Anthology 3 compilation album."
Happy 4th of July!

Blank on Blank - Lou Reed on Guns & Ammo
Yup, same here. He made it sound like they were the only group that did anything worth anything back then. They would've never gotten anywhere without Warhol using his fame and promoting them extensively and were just stupidly artsy fartsy and pretentious; the mega-hipsters of the day.
I think why he disliked Beatles was that their debut album was released at the same time as Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.. Warhol got them record contract in the first place and the album bombed (allthou has some legendary songs, no doubt) but without him no one would've heard about them since of before.
Also Reed has probably the worst "rock" album on his merit: Metal Machine Music.. Some idiots take that album seriously It's just two guitars leaning against amplifiers...
Jesus I had no idea he was such a douche. Jaw on floor when he accuses others of being pretentious.

I like how he called the Beatles garbage. Whenever I tell people I don't like the Beatles, I get these crazed looks. I don't think they're awful, but their songs are largely simplistic and nursery rhyme like. There's much better music out there. It seems like the Beatles are ingrained into our collective and it's considered sacrilege to go against that.
