How much pain a man can endure just to see some boobs

Bidouleroux says...

As someone who understands Japanese, let me burst your bubble: they're not doing this to see boobs. They would do it even if they were attached to another guy's sweaty butt. The goal is to win and make people laugh, whatever the cost. The girls are only there for the viewers.

noam chomsky-how climate change became a liberal hoax

idic5 says...

replying to the last poster: IT looks like you and-or your org is more on the GW-CC denier side or , as I read in an article, think that humans s/ engage in activities that wd ADAPT to the (presumed) inevitable global warming. That it wd be folly to try to affect such inevitable processes.

This thinking is lead by the first part - the lack of belief that GW CC is occurring primarily due to man's emitting carbon into the atmosphere that last few hundred years. If this is in doubt, then indeed the best thing to do is to try to adapt, However, if this is true, then we should try to change our carbon emitting ways. But the Koch Brothers ,Exxon, the richest company on the planet, and billions of dollars have another say about this - they will not go gently into the night, even if the night is blistering hot and sweaty. Why would entities such as these just willingly change everything they do, all the success and power they have ?

the following article says that the International Climate Science Coalition recvs funding from the conservative HEartland Institute which is for the status quo.

Further, the following page says that the Coalition just mentioned is virtual only and does not occupy a place.

'How to get that last mile to your destination?' Um... how about walking?
I mean, this thing is pretty damn cool, but come on people, walking a mile is actually a GOOD thing, not something to be avoided.
All the houses we've bought as a family I've mandated it had to be a 'good walk' away from the nearest train station so I can get me some daily exercise. A couple of kms each way each day does you a world of good. A lot moreso than standing on a powered board would.
Still, if it gets people out of cars, it's a net win.

I would maintain that there a lot of people who are going to work, just getting off the train or bus and still have a mile or two to go who don't necessarily want to be sweating in their work clothes before they get to their job.
My guess is that there are enough people who already showered, did their make-up or whatever, and still want to look good without looking like they just had their second morning workout.

If someone gets sweaty and dishevelled from just walking a mile, then I think they need that walking more than they realise

Or they live in a hot place? Ever walked a mile in NYC in August?

Well done, Officer M. Nork.

I think Officer Nork was just as ready to shoot these assholes and have a calm lunch after.

BTW letting people walk around with 30 shot machine guns (even if they are reduced to semi-auto) is some Mad Max shit. How many terrified people clutching sweaty pistols in their houses that night? Or did the cops go around explaining to all the frightened people that called them that actually what they saw on the street today was normal?

The Invisible Bicycle Helmet (Some thought it can't be done)

kymbos says...

I think if you're that averse to wearing a helmet, you deserve to pay $600 for a sweaty neck brace that might prevent brain damage if you come off.

I'll stick to my $30 helmet, thanks.

There's a big difference between anonymously talking shit on the internet and talking shit in a wining short sponsored by General Electric. Now, was it so important that they'll bring up misogyny, where they so oppressed by hoards of men that they needed to put it in a short about a bicycle helm? Allow me to doubt that.
Also, that invention looks like might be able to break your collar bone or squash few vertebrae if not just snap your neck.

skip to 2:35 to see the actual product and avoid listening to them tell you how spectacular they are especially because they are women and all men think that women are incapable of even the most basic technical abilities.....
Also....trading a bike helmet for a sweaty neck brace.....maybe not so awesome. I would have to argue that a dorky and guaranteed bike helmet > a dorky, expensive, probably heavy, not 100% guaranteed function & definitely sweaty neck brace.
Practicality for anywhere that gets above 70 degrees F = 0.
Still....its undeniably neat.

I think they're entitled...all I hear about is how shit women are from men on the internet. Just because it doesn't describe you doesn't mean their own personal experiences with men doubting them aren't valid.
