The 7 Biggest Failures of Trumponomics

BSR says...

LOL, come on now, I've never called you names before. Sticks and stones.

So what is your answer to the problem?

I suspect you see the the problem but are at a loss for the answer. Seems you grow frustrated and angry because no one hears you.

I hear you. Your heart sent out an SOS. I'm on your side. I need your pen.

I think I will take that nap. Thanks. I would never give up on you. You are too valuable.

You're being particularly dense this morning.

I offer you recent historical proof of murderous violent idiot racist Trumpists, wholeheartedly supported by Trump and his people (non racist idiots don't stand with and support idiot racists), you can't see it.
I give you explanatory lyrics that explain the mindset, you attribute them to me.

Then you offer nonsense....likely more lyrics. Should I dismissively attribute suspicion morphing to fearful hatred to you because you wrote it?

Take a nap and try again.

He gets props for representing 75-90% of the forum posters, depending on concurrency. I know because I was a forum mod (blue poster).

Some of those peak hours/days are rough. Thankless job, really. Props to the MvPs and other helpful people, my homies. Couldn't weather the storm without the legitimately helpful people; the core of the decent portion of the community; the unentitled, do-gooders of the gaming world: the superheroes. The individual in this video, whom I respect (despite my better judgement) is the villain in this series.

The Warcraft IP is a behemoth with a thousand beating hearts incapable of true destruction. If WoW were a Magic: The Gathering card it would have "Indestructible" and "Can't be the target of spells or abilities" printed on it. Sticks and stones -- words ain't spell damage. YOU LOSE. Good day, sir.

Altho, I agree with the "stick and stones" theory. There's always an "us and them".

In-groups and out-groups are sorta the foundation of civilization and societies.

If you're a guy..
you will never have the same experience as a woman your same age, height, weight, etc.

You'll never have to give birth to a child,
therefore you can never act as if you know what that experience is like.

[Or "they haven't lived thru thick and thin with her, therefore they haven't earned the right to talk smack about your momma" if you wanna use the "infantile" analogy.]

After a while you realize: What's the benefit? [of being offended]

But yes, Professor Wise is correct. You shouldn't try to "reclaim" any words for any in-groups you're not a part of. = P

I think it's a pretty bad idea to have a "10 votes for a ban" link or any such thing. If it is being installed we're gonna need more guidelines and rules, as well as repercussions when abusing the feature that is supposed to stop abuse and so on ...

I'm not sure any policing (especially of profile comments) is even necessary. I mean we're all grown-ups here, no? Sticks and stones anyone? Don't like how someone is talking to you on here? Just use the ignore function, problem solved. No policing, no dag screening profile messages, no unnecessary drama. Of course when you ignore someone, that someone shouldn't be able to leave messages on your profile anymore.

They knew who they were attacking with poles and knives. Did they then expect the Israeli shoulders to brush that kind of reaction off?

Flotilla members are saying the Israelis fired warning shots on the boat, and when the boat refused to stop, started shooting at the boat, before the boarding seen in this video took place. Whether that's true or not I have no way of knowing, but if it is, then you can see how they would fear being shot if they simply let themselves be boarded. Not that I think it's realistic to expect to beat a heavily armed military force with what amounts to sticks and stones, but when people get riled up, they don't think very well. Maybe the Israelis didn't fire first at all - point is, these videos prove very little. Need more context.

Mr. Krugman and his liberal scolds condemn large segments of American society because two men died at the hands of "right wing nut-jobs". He calls the violent acts part of the "Big Hate". Krugman expresses outrage at the tragic deaths of two innocent men yet he and his liberal friends silently ignore the deaths of thousands of innocent Iraqi and Afghani women and children killed as a result of American foreign policy.

"So which one of us is going to be the first to admit that it's time to cast a new look at our First Amendment rights? The fomentors have gone way beyond "sticks and stones". They not only revel in the attention it brings, they're addicted to it.

There are millions of people who take to heart every seriously off-base utterance from the Right Wing extremist "entertainers", and the number of incidents caused by their acting-out is only going to increase--unless we as a society stop allowing hate speech to masquerade as amusement."

Racist Baker Bakes 'Drunken Negro Faces'

12511 says...

Sticks and stones will break my bones, but words will...get you in trouble with all of the politically-correct whiners, thus forcing you to apologize publicly and beg for mercy.

You know what I would do if I walked into that bakery, and he told me they were drunken nigger faces? I'd laugh at him, say that he's stupid, and leave. End of story. I wouldn't alert my friend, who would then alert the media, who would then alert the whole white world, who would then get all butt-hurt and complain about yet another instance of some dumb fuck who doesn't deserve all of this free publicity.
