"Was clearly not a duplicate" MMMmmmmm....I wouldn't say "clearly."

I couldn't tell the difference after I watched it the first time. It instantly looked like a dupe. He should have specified the difference and then there would have been no confusion.

In reply to this comment by lucky760:
Your *dupeof/*isdupe privilege has been revoked for invoking against a video that was clearly not a duplicate or that was dead at the time (which means you could not possibly have known whether or not it was a dupe).

Your action caused a great deal of lost time on the duped post, which cost it all of its hotness and any chance at the Top 15, and a lot of wasted effort was required to undo your mistake.

You duped yourself? WTH? *dupeof=http://videosift.com/video/Strangely-erotic-milk-ad

Nothing political. I just wanted to throw in a book review. I was only fooling. I think it's funny how crazy people are about that book (on both sides).

In reply to this comment by HaricotVert:
[EDIT] Oh, I get it now. The first video is some retarded internet user's redubbing of the original SIGGRAPH short (which did have the sound effects and McFerrin music, identical to the audio in the one you posted), and thus is still an incorrect titling and labeling, while the one you posted is the theatrical short that all the movie-going audiences saw.

By the way, you can keep your political commentary out of our conversation, since it is entirely unrelated to the reason I claimed dupe and downvoted. Thanks.

Whoopsie. Look before you leap.
That video has some lame dubbed music. This is the remastered copy with the original Bobby McFerrin.

Thanks anyway (for the downvote).

That other video that you linked to is kinda like Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States. Looks fine on the surface, but once you really dig in you find it's nothing more than a crock.

Kinda, but not really.

...unless you're talking about how over-eating cheeseburgers makes you fat, and over-eating carrots will turn you're skin orange.

>> ^dead_tofu:
hey, i dont see how being fat plays a role in this.....??? its kinda the same as refering to the color of peoples skin, isnt it?

In reply to this comment by ponceleon:
I'm sorry, but being fat is NOT the same as skin color. Fat is BAD. Fat makes you slow, it shortens your life, and it means there is a problem. Sure there are some who don't have control over it due to some glandular problem, but in America, that latter explanation is over-used pop-psychology bs. Most over-weight people here are so by their eating habits, the fact they aren't active in any way whatsoever, and potentially other unrelated problems which they are trying to solve by super-sizing their meals.

To my point, this narrow-minded, shallow, racist pig is more than likely fat because she enjoys a nice pint of ice-cream after each meal.

It's obviously fake. Why would they have all gathered like that? They start arguing while making sure they project toward the camera.

Even the YouTuber's intro is terrible, cracker-jack acting.

I am a Christian and I will say that all three of them are morons.

Chastising people is NO way to get them to open up to what you have to say.

Fair enough. If you would have originally said,"All religions have questionable backgrounds," I wouldn't have said anything back. I just felt that you were attempting to lump my beliefs in with Scientology, as if our beliefs are similar. Or that our belief that the Book of Mormon comes from God is different than the Bible coming from God.

In reply to this comment by Farhad2000:
No I think all these are creations and manifestations of man, I could claim to receive Gods word now, the only thing stopping you or anyone else taking me serious is how far you are willing to believe this applies to Scientology, Mormonism, Islam, Christianity and all other religons.

At the end of the day all religions are creations of man, not the creation of God. Thus they are wrong. I too am being 100%.

There is no way anyone can convince anyone else that the Bible or any scripture is made by God.

So, you agree with me that the only similarities have to do with flak from others.

Is that so much more different than the accounts of Moses claiming to part the Red Sea, or Noah building an arc? Why is it okay for some to claim to have received the word of God 2000 years ago, and not okay for them to say they received the word of God yesterday?

I'm being 100% serious.

In reply to this comment by Farhad2000:
L. Ron Hubbard makes shit up about Xenu, DC-10s, thetans and all that good stuff.

Joseph Smith makes shit up about getting golden plates from an Angel. Oh and Jesus visited America, multiple gods and worlds. Oh by the way they also have modern prophets whose official statements become official canon.

I was relating them as two relatively modern belief systems with questionable origins. Not directly.

In reply to this comment by deedub81:
What's questionable about Mormonism as it relates to Scientology? I fail to see any similarities, other than the amount of scrutiny the two receive.

Scientology has a known history of abuse, illegal activity, and motives for world domination, for lack of a better term.

Where are the parallels?

In reply to this comment by Farhad2000:
You sound like a nice person whose trying to defend a religion that has questionable origins and backgrounds.

It's like Scientology. Also based on questionable facts, but am sure there are some nice folks who practice it.

I don't really understand what you mean by anti-Mormon propaganda, I would love if you could show me some sources.
