Unprecedented Partnership between Fox News and Trump

Briguy1960 says...

Love the mature way they approached this.

Did anyone actually pay attention to the part where they spell it out yet again for the slow witted that there is the News aspect and the infamous Entertainment part of the programming?

It is actually possible to tune in to watch Baer Smith and Wallace etc without contracting a disease which forces you to watch Hannity 24/7..

@bobknight33 is not a Russian Troll.

Unless that troll has severe mood swings or something.

It seems more like multiple trolls are using the account. I remember a time when he could spell most words in English correctly, for instance. His arguments were much angrier then too. Now he's more laid back about it. He doesn't seem like he's angry, just that he's got a job to do, but at the same time the spelling and some of the grammar went down hill.

11 years of trying fact, reason, logic, religion, history......all to no avail, and seeing his positions consistently change based on who we are discussing (e.g.. the debt under Obama was 100% Obama's fault, was a disgrace we shouldn't tolerate and should run him out of office for, but under Trump doubling or tripling the deficit, raising spending and cutting taxes, doesn't matter a whit and is somehow Obama's fault).
I'm prepared to take the <1% chance that I'm wrong and say "yes", he is a Russian agent....I'm just not 100% certain he knows it. I am 100% certain he wouldn't admit it if he did.

Interesting...I googled it spelled that way before commenting and that didn't show up, only bands and restaurants and suggestions I misspelled. I guess I should have wikied.

I would swallow my own tongue before riding a train that crowded. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever. It's panic inspiring just thinking about it. I left the San Francisco bay area because it was far too crowded, but by comparison it's completely unpopulated.

I could speculate that it's because many European languages (including German) spell it that way? Even in English it was the dominant spelling until the 1890s (at least according to the google NGRA
M viewer.

Re the actual video, it takes a few cancelled trains before my line gets that crowded. It would be interesting to know if this was normal for this line.

Side note, how did you live there for years and not know it's normally spelled Tokyo? ;-)

The number of humans isnt a problem. Its the apparent lack of discipline and/or supervision.

I lived a few years in Tokio, where the subway handles comparable numbers of people ... it's full, it's cramped, women are being fondled regulary by shitty perverts ... but besides that, general people mass management works.

And your point is? You'll have to spell it out. Preferably without the hyperbole this time. What do you think the words, "Not entirely inaccurate..." mean?

Mekanikal says...

An old EQ tale:

I was invisible and running through the Karanas one day when I noticed a young gnome near the gypsy camp. He was fighting a lion and though it looked like he would win the battle, being a fellow gnome, I decided to help the guy out.

I targeted the lion, clicked on my mesmerize spell, then started to type: "I'm mesmerizing the lion for you." I got as far as: "I'm " when I remembered that I had replaced my mesmerize spell with an Area of Effect mesmerize spell... and that I was standing next to an NPC enchantress. Gulp.

My movement keys are mapped to "w a s d" so I frantically stabbed at my keyboard, trying to MOVE and interrupt the spell.

I forgot that I was in typing mode.

The gypsy enchantress didn't like my attempt to mezz her so she promptly charmed me [IE Mind control] and made me go after the gnome I had been trying to save. I watched in horror as my peace-loving character, knife flailing like a crazed sushi chef, chased the little guy down and stabbed him to death.

I found my victim later and apologized profusely... I even gave him a nice weapon and a piece of armor. He was great about it, and laughed when I told him what happened.

He said he didn't know WHAT was going on. One minute he was fighting a lion, the next minute a strange gnome appeared out of NOWHERE, announced: "I'm wwwaaaddd", then sliced him up like Freddy Krueger.

I did for years....I rode my bike 35 miles a day between home, school, and work. I got pulled over without ID, then went on my way without issue.

"Travel" is a different word from "drive"....that's why they are spelled and pronounced differently. You're sounding like one of those idiotic "Freemen" who think they can declare personal sovereignty....they always claim a right to travel without ID means any type of traveling including driving and flying on airplanes, it doesn't.

You can not ideally travel in USA with out an ID.

On paper the right to travel is good in reality you can not move about without a vehicle and hence you need a ID

"You give the woman a victim hood mentality ."

First, sexual assault happens to both men and women.
Second, yes, because I am specifically talking about VICTIMS of sexual assault.

"What about the guy? He too carries this to his grave. He too sufferer a life of pain of a un erasable false accusation. "

Yes, a false accusation of rape is awful. I've said so multiple times now. But it's still not as bad as being raped. I don't want to break my arm, but I'll take it over being shot in the chest. See how too things can be bad, but one is worse than the other?

Plus, at least, with a false accusation of rape, there's a chance you will get your name cleared.

"The difference The man carries a tag on his back for all to see and discriminate against.
The woman carries internal pain. Which is hurt most?"

Easy. The rape victim.

"this does not give society the obligation to take her at her word just because she is a woman."

Which is exactly why I never said that. What I said is that anyone who makes a claim of sexual assault is "entitled to be taken seriously", i.e. have said claim investigated. Due process still applies.

"Even is false hoods are 1% - that is too much, if it is you. Just think today if a work colleague told your boss that you grabbed he upper spots? Not even rape. You would loose your job. Then what How do you explain this at the next job? No one would hire you , just to be on the safe side. You are black listed."

Can you please try using a spell checker? That is really hard to read. What the hell is "you grabbed he upper spots" supposed to mean?

Anyway, assuming you're talking about sexual harassment in the workplace, I would expect not to be fired until an investigation had proved I was in the wrong.

Again, false accusations are bad, and yeah, it would totally suck if it happened to you.

But it's just not that common. The numbers don't support your case at all. Rape far out numbers false accusations, and that's not even getting into other forms of sexual assault, like groping or catcalling, most of which isn't even reported.

Newsflash: most women don't WANT to be perceived as a victim of sexual assault.

"Trump has nothing to do with this."
Yeah, he does. He (and you) contributes to the culture that is more worried about a tiny percentage of false accusations than the NINETY FUCKING THOUSAND RAPES THAT OCCUR EVERY YEAR IN THE US.
