Meanwhile Biden speaks off the cuff at events like the correspondent dinner (that Trump avoided like a coward knowing he couldn’t tell jokes or be funny even with the teleprompter) where he once again killed it on stage, being sharp, witty, and with great timing. Sleepy Joe sure is bright eyed and bushy tailed, rational and intelligent, vibrant and focused whenever you see him unedited, must be adrenochrome, right?

The RNC has a maximum of 6 months to dump Trump, but he knew that was coming and nepatized the RNC 100% so now it’s nothing but a cash cow for his personal legal bills and won’t drop him if he’s in prison. It’s hilarious he’s so hurt that nobody loves him anymore…not his family, not his cultists, not his proud boys and boogaloo boys. No one showed up again on Friday after he begged them to come support him all week. He had to lie and claim they were kept away, but multiple news outlets debunked that on air by walking in front of the courthouse without issue.
He’s losing in courtrooms all over the country, and being named in criminal indictments in more and more states. He’s siphoning off all Republican cash for his own bills and kickbacks to his family, so nobody down ballot has money to campaign either…and Trump isn't campaigning, he’s just complaining. I agree that’s the noble thing to do, but I can’t condemn the ones that choose to seek safety in numbers with Jewish Palestinians as exclusively invasion minded aggressors. My 6 million tag was maybe a bit sharp, but you also know that the Nazi’s took Paris and as much as it sucked to be French or European under Nazi occupation, you also know adding Jewish to that carried a lot of extra consequence and danger to your family.

My POV is agnostic of everything save Isreali people today having a right exist as a nation. Which at this point from my POV leaves 1947 as somewhat academic.

It’s your insistence that Jewish people, and the existence of Israel, have always fundamentally been invaders that I was objecting to as it is so intensely at odds with factual history.

You gave a brief nod on not being a scholar of Palestinian history, but then proceed to just count all Jewish refugees as good as Zionist aggressors from day 1(or close enough), and the local Arab population as nothing but pure, kind caring victims of these invaders.

I will state again, that is ahistorical propaganda and NOT what actually happened. And for my POV, its enough generations back as to be Academic, but for your POV it is fundamental because without being able to writeoff Israel as invaders from day 1, nuance enters the calculus and suddenly the conflict is flooded with shades of grey because lots of parties all contribute to the bloodshed, and many with reasonable motivations from both sides yet too.

Please find me any reputable sources to refute the reality of 1920-1940s Palestine:
-Mass Jewish immigration fleeing European oppression raised tensions between Jewish and Arab Palestinians.(as one must expect)
-Arab palestinians were already chaffing and resisting British colonial rule(as one must expect)
-These tensions led conflict, initially more ‘civil’ with the Arab majority trying to refuse all business, sales and trade with all Jews.
-Escalation followed throughout that time, but in drips and drops and NOT a ‘surprise the Zionist army has arrived’! style of aggression

The violent escalation was a fight here, a beating there. Little individual fights, escalating into deaths. Retaliations slowly grew, with each side exchanging small escalations.

-the culmination of this was eventually all out civil war, and the Jewish side immediately accepting a UN mandated 2 state solution

-this culmination coinciding with the end of WW2 and revelations of the true extent of the holocaust can’t be ignored, it certainly shaped the Jewish mindset in the conflict.

-Their mindset was pretty clearly not inaccurate either, as the immediate response of all neighbouring Arab nations was a declaration of war on the new ‘state’, with bold claims of how quickly the Jews would be swept into the sea. The confidence was so high, a call was sent it for ALL Arab palestinians to abandon and flee the entire region of Palestine to better enable the complete cleansing of the land.

The above is all pretty much inarguably factual, and I’d bargain you could get an Arabic and Israeli scholar together to more or less agree on those facts which is saying alot.

Propaganda from both sides would like to declare that the Arabs harboured deep Nazi sympathies, and thus Israel was pure and true in all it did. Or from the other side, more or less your narrative of Zionist bad guys launching invasion from day 1(ish).

Both though are just sprinklings of half truths, with anti-British resentment naturally breeding some leanings towards the axis, and even genuine Nazi cleanse the Jews believers. And absolutely Zionists featured prominently within the Jewish population. My Camaro was a shark-nose '97.

For classics, I owned a '73 Charger SE and I loved me the hell out of that car, too. It was the size of an aircraft carrier and the engine compartment was bigger than my condo. The scariest thing about that car was how easily the back end would come around in a sharp turn. The first rains of the year were a horror show when the pavement was like oiled glass. "Am I gonna beat that red? Gun it! ... uh-oh."

Have had much experience with Kodak films. B/W film of which I had much time in the darkroom processing the film and then making prints. I also had the chance to work with an Award winning Press Photographer.

One question I had for him was, how does he process his film to get such clear, sharp negatives? My prints would sometimes look grainy or flat. His answer was just 5 words that made me feel like an idiot.

"I just follow the instructions" he said without being insulting.

He told me that Kodak spends millions of dollars to come up with the processing instructions so, "why should I do anything different?"

That's when it hit me. I'm processing film, not mixing drinks.

It does look like his hands are shaking. I think mine would be shaking too with that sharp looking beak. Luckily the bird knew enough not to bite the hand that frees you.

While I don't necessarily crave for his old comedy routine from himself anymore -- I've got enough of that from TDS vets like Noah, Bee, Colbert as well as Meyers -- I desperately want his kind of sharp questions posed to his interviewees, with or without the laughs. Call 911.
Keep other people out of the way.
Clear hard or sharp objects away from the person.
Don't try to hold them down or stop the movements.
Place them on their side, to help keep their airway clear.
Look at your watch at the start of the seizure, to time its length.
Don't put anything in their mouth.

I lived in Cape Canaveral during the shuttle program and have witnessed all but 5 launches live, once from within the 5 mile zone. The sound at that distance is very loud but, also different compared to a 15 mile distance away. The sound is very sharp and "cracks" unmuffled by air until it gets further away. You can feel the sound waves in your body. It is pretty emotional, even if you've been waiting for hours for liftoff and then the launch gets scrubbed.

I was in Georgia when Challenger exploded. I watched it live on TV and for a short while I couldn't understand why the launch looked so different on TV. It really took a few a seconds to realize what was happening. I cried that day.

What's he mean? Our leaders are out there, cooling heads, deescalating, bringing people together. I've seen multiple presidential speeches lately that were compassionate, empathetic, thoughtful, racially inclusive and racially sensitive. The leadership quality and sharp mind displayed in those clips was undeniable. I've missed seeing Barack, I hope he stays in the limelight a while.
