It bears mentioning that Hamas is not the elected governing body, they seized control through violence in 2007 and are not supported by the vast majority of Palestinians, yet Palestinian civilians are the clear undeniable target for retaliation over their unsanctioned actions, which is an international war crime, so far with 10 times the number of civilian Palestinians vs all Israelis killed in this most recent conflict including the intentional targeting of refugee camps, and expected to multiply exponentially, with Israel already announcing their intention to basically annex Gaza and keep it a ghetto under their full control for an unspecified period of time (read “forever”), which was a total inhuman genocidal disaster the last time they did it.
